The latest confirmed development in the regional flood table is that a new review window opens with a dated question and a named clerk. The update comes from the shared flood board at South Ferry; the existing arrangement remains in force until the board closes this window.
Tomas Reed, river correspondent for the joint table, confirmed 55 warnings issued with both town readings attached in the file. The previous window recorded 59; the totals do not settle how neighboring towns can share a warning before their readings align.
The unresolved point is specific: Upper towns want a warning as soon as their mark rises. Lower towns want a second reading before closing the ferry. No final outcome has been posted before the scheduled decision.
Residents and staff continue under the current schedule while the review is open.
NEXT UPDATE: The Year fifth, cold harbor window 2 file remains open for its scheduled decision. The joint table will publish a two-reading rule with the decision time recorded. A fresh window will use a new date and source record.
