A review of the flood map, its copy register and later margin notes finds a gap between the total in the public summary and the conditions recorded at the map room under Ferry House. The difference does not prove that anyone misstated the file. It shows what the public count leaves out: a blue channel line appears on one copy but not the filed public sheet.

The the flood map, its copy register and later margin notes lists 64 map marks with a dated source note; the previous window lists 60. Ada Merrow checked both against ward records and interviews with people who use the service. The source was checked against a second copy held by Ava Korr. No dated correction to either copy was present when the comparison closed.

The line is visible on the surviving copy. The archive has not found a matching field survey or a named hand. The office has not supplied a separate measure that would settle the disagreement, so the two explanations remain competing accounts.

This report supports a narrower finding: the count is repeatable, but it is not enough to decide whether the line records a lost spill channel or a later copyist’s change.

Anew review window opens with a dated question and a named clerk. The Year third, market fall window 2 file remains open for its scheduled decision. The archive will publish the two copies with their later marks dated separately.
